Getting to / from the wedding

Tuscany

There are two international airports in Tuscany: Pisa and Florence.

Borgo Tre Rose is about 1h 30m by car from Florence airport.
Borgo Tre Rose is about 2h 15m by car from Pisa airport.

Travelling from Manchester Airport

🛫 There are two international airports in Tuscany, but only one of these has a direct flight from Manchester: Pisa airport.
On Sunday 13th September 2026, there is an EasyJet direct flight leaving Manchester airport at 06:45am and arrives at Pisa airport at 10:15am.
A coach will then be taking everyone from Pisa airport at 11am to Borgo Tre Rose arriving at about 2pm.

Alternative travelling

🛫 If you cannot bear the early morning flight like me, then you can also get a flight the night before (Saturday 12th September 12:05pm to 3:30pm from Manchester), stay the night in Pisa and meet at 11am at Pisa airport in the morning to board the coach to Borgo Tre Rose.

🛫 If you are not travelling through Manchester airport, then you can also make your own way to Pisa airport and meet at 11:30am at Pisa airport on Sunday 13th September 2026 to board the coach to Borgo Tre Rose.

🚗 If you are hiring a car, you can rent a car from Pisa airport, but it may also be an idea to get a flight to Florence and drive from there as it’s about 40min closer than Pisa airport. But, you would need to get two flights if you are travelling from Manchester airport.

Leaving the wedding

Transport back to Pisa Airport

A coach will be leaving Borgo Tre Rose at 10:30am on Tuesday 15th September travelling to Pisa airport arriving at about 1:30pm.

From Pisa you are free to explore Italy by taking a flight/train to many famous Italian cities like: Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan, Sardinia, Sicily, etc, or take a flight home.
